Chenping Hou's research interests lie in statistical data analysis and machine learning.
Short Bio
Chenping Hou (Member, IEEE) received the BS and PhD degrees in appliedmathematics from the National University of Defense Technology, Changsha,China, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He is currently a full professor withthe College of Science, National University of Defense Technology.
He has authored more than 100 papers in journals and conferences, such asthe IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEETransactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions onNeural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics,IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, IJCAI, AAAI,etc. He has been a Program Committee member of several conferencesincluding IJCAI, AAAI, etc. His current research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, data mining, and computer vision.
